Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau joined a pinoy food festival in Toronto, Canada last Saturday, and he set the internet abuzz.
Canada is home to around 700,000 Filipinos.
Justin Trudeau has been making headlines since his term as Prime Minister began, not only because of his good looks, but also because of his sound policies.
He also endeared himself to Filipino netizens because of being dubbed as one of the #APECHotties during the 2015 Asia Pacific Economic Conference (APEC) held in the Philippines.
What we know so far: He’s a feminist, he does yoga, and he regularly joins pride parades. Now we learn that he is also adept at cooking barbecue. Seriously, what can he not do?
And as if he’s not lovable enough, he even donned on a barong when he graced the event. Sporting the Paul Cabral barong he wore during the APEC summit, he gamely cooked barbeque with the Filipino Community. And he even posted pictures on his Facebook page.
“Serving up a Taste of Manila with Toronto’s Filipino community today. Mabuhay!” – Trudeau’s caption in the pictures posted on his Facebook page.
The Taste of Manila food festival was only one of several cultural and food-related festivals happening over the weekend in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
