Nowadays, life is so busy that we simply forget to appreciate the simple things or even enjoy the extra time that we have. Most of the time, we would just realize that in a blink of an eye, a certain amount of time has already passed. We are lucky if we get to have people who would tap us on the back to say, “pause and take a break.”

For Facebook user James Hermogenes who recently lost his Dad, it is an act of kindness by a pharmacy staff named Shelle of Mercury Drugstore in Bocaue, Bulacan branch in the Philippines that made him feel that there are still good people in the world. In his post, he thanked Shelle for not getting tired of picking up James’ Dad’s medicines so they would not a hard time purchasing it. What’s really nice about it? The sweet gift that was included. Check out his post below:

A bar of chocolate that has “Wala po akong alam na gamot pampa saya” (I don’t know any medicine that would equal to happiness) written on it was included on a Mercury Drug plastic bag. Truly, there is still hope for humanity. Have you experienced this kind of thoughtfulness? Share it with us in the comments below!
