Ever since Queen Bey announced her pregnancy on Instagram, people have been waiting for more news regarding the twin’s gender and names. Fans have been speculating as to whether when the babies would be born or whether they’d be a boy and a girl or both boys or girls. However, Beyoncé herself cleared up all the questions by posting the first-ever photo of twins Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. Yes, Bey did not only post their pictures but their names as well.
The photo she posted is similar to her maternity photo shoot. Bey is standing in a garden, surrounded by flowers, wearing a floral dress and a blue veil on her head. Cradled in her arms, surrounded by purple fabric, are the babies, fast asleep.
“Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today,” she wrote, along with a few very well-chosen emoji to signify the growing Carter family: 🙏🏽❤️👨🏽👩🏽👧🏽👶🏾👶🏾.
TMZ confirmed that trademark documents with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, seeking the rights to the words “Sir Carter” and “Rumi Carter” has been filed.
